1:1 COACHING (Virtual)
for Writers & Photographers
It’s nice to meet you.
As someone who has built a personal brand from scratch, played a key role in several creative ventures, and authored six books, I can relate to the various challenges that creative people face. To me, success as a creative freelancer or professional means striking a balance between the business and marketing side and finding avenues for your work that you find fulfilling and that align with your vision and goals.

Why coach in writing and photography? Writing is my jam, but you could say that photography is a good chunk of my sustenance. Since 2010, I have partnered with my husband to build Paul Zizka Photography into what it is today — handling all back-end, branding, marketing, new business development, stock image licensing and more. I know the photo world, I just don’t take the pictures.
So, whether you need another set of eyes, a listening ear or some insight and advice on your next steps, I offer one-on-one sessions dedicated to helping you make significant progress. My strengths are in big-picture thinking, strategic development, workflows, and helping others find a direction that aligns with their unique skills.
But I also know the devil can be in the details. I’m here to help you figure out what to focus on, what to let go of, and what steps to take to get you from A to B.
Let’s chat.

Initial Consultation
1.5 HRS ($225 CAD)
I’ve done enough of these sessions to know that 1 hour is never enough, so my initial consultation has been designed to provide you with enough feedback and direction to make actionable (and impactful) steps forward.
Includes:
15-30 minutes allocated to reviewing any materials you send in advance.
1 hour 1:1 virtual call on Zoom, plus additional time depending on pre-meeting time usage.
Shared Google Doc and folder where I’ll provide my notes, and a recording of the call.
After an initial consultation, we can determine whether an ongoing coaching relationship might be a good fit, depending on my current client load and availability. Ongoing clients receive a discount on 1:1 sessions and any review time required.
